Law Enforcement Night Vision Goggles for Sale — PANOS Quad-Tube

97°+ field of view. Four independent Gen 3 image intensifiers. The NVG architecture that SWAT, ESU, and tactical LE units use when a dual-tube isn't enough.

The PANOS is a quad-tube panoramic night vision goggle system configured by Adams Industries for law enforcement and tactical applications. Where a standard dual-tube NVG gives you 40° of coverage through two tubes, the PANOS runs four independent Gen 3 image intensifiers — a center pair for primary field of view and an outer pair that extends your visible picture to 97°+ without moving your head.

For tactical LE units — SWAT, ESU, SRT, maritime interdiction — that peripheral awareness is not a luxury. It changes what you see at a doorway breach, in a vehicle approach, and during building clearance. Adams Industries configures each PANOS to mission requirements with your choice of tube package. Priced for unit procurement and individual operator purchase alike.

Why Tactical LE Units Choose Quad-Tube

Law enforcement NVG requirements differ from most civilian use cases. SWAT and tactical teams are dealing with dynamic environments — building clearance, vehicle approaches, perimeter containment — where peripheral awareness is directly linked to officer safety. A dual-tube NVG handles the forward threat corridor. A quad-tube handles what's in your periphery at the same time.

The practical difference: with a 40° dual-tube system, a threat at 45 degrees off your centerline is outside your NVG picture. You have to move your head, which costs time and breaks your focus on the primary threat. With the PANOS, 97°+ of coverage means that 45-degree position is inside your field of view without moving.

That is not a marginal improvement. In a dynamic entry or a vehicle approach, the difference between what you saw and what you almost saw matters.

97°+ Panoramic FOV

Four independent image intensifier tubes — a center pair aligned to your primary field of view and an outer pair extending coverage to 97°+. Your peripheral picture is live NV, not darkness.

Standard Helmet Integration

Mounts to standard NVG shroud systems and J-arm mounts already in LE inventory. No proprietary helmet required. If you run MICH, ACH, FAST, or a modern bump shell, the PANOS interfaces with your existing mount system.

Gen 3 Image Quality

Four Gen 3 image intensifiers — not four consumer-grade tubes stuffed into a large housing. White phosphor (WP) option provides higher contrast image than traditional green phosphor, with better depth perception and edge definition in dark environments.

External Battery Pack

Power delivered via external battery pack for helmet balance and extended runtime. The pack counterweights the head-borne load — four tubes is more glass than a standard monocular or binocular, and the external battery keeps the system weight distribution sensible.

MX-10160 Tube Format

Uses MX-10160 image intensifier tubes — the same format as the L3 GPNVG-18 and other current-generation military panoramic systems. Supply chain established, tubes available, format is not going away.

PANOS vs. Dual-Tube for Tactical LE

Most LE NVG programs start with monoculars or dual-tube binoculars — practical choices at a practical price. The PANOS is the next step for units whose mission profile demands wider coverage. Here is the comparison:

Factor PANOS Quad-Tube Standard Dual-Tube (e.g., SENTINEL, MH-1)
Field of View 97°+ (4 tubes, panoramic) 40° (2 tubes)
Peripheral Awareness Active — outer tubes cover your flanks None — dark outside 40° cone
Dynamic Entry See doorframe, threshold, and flanks simultaneously Forward corridor only
Vehicle Approach See driver door and passenger side together One side at a time

Tube Configuration Options

The PANOS runs four image intensifier tubes — you select the phosphor type for your mission profile. Adams Industries configures each system to order.

New White Phosphor Gen 3

New production white phosphor image intensifiers. WP provides higher contrast, better edge definition, and improved depth perception vs. traditional green phosphor. The preferred choice for units doing primarily nighttime tactical operations.

  • New production tubes — full rated service life
  • White phosphor — higher contrast than GP
  • Gen 3 — U.S.-manufactured image intensifier

Remanufactured White Phosphor Gen 3

Factory remanufactured Gen 3 white phosphor tubes. Fully inspected before installation. Substantial cost savings over new production while maintaining WP image quality. Strong choice for units equipping multiple operators on a constrained budget.

  • Factory inspected and spec-verified
  • White phosphor image quality
  • Lower cost per system vs. new WP

Remanufactured Green Phosphor Gen 3

Remanufactured Gen 3 green phosphor tubes. Classic military phosphor — the same image format as decades of LE and military NVG training. Battle-proven, fully inspected. Most cost-effective quad-tube configuration for units adding panoramic coverage on a budget.

  • Factory remanufactured, fully inspected
  • Classic green phosphor — matches existing training
  • Lowest cost entry to quad-tube panoramic
