Same Gen 3 performance. Lower price. Every unit bench-tested and warranted.
When Adams Industries remanufactures a night vision device, it comes back out of our shop as a fully functional Gen 3 system — not a used product with a cleaned housing. We go through it completely. The housing gets inspected and replaced if needed. The optics get cleaned or replaced. The tube gets evaluated against spec, and if it doesn't meet our standards, we put a new one in. The device gets bench-tested from scratch before it ships.
The result is a remanufactured unit that performs like a new build, not a used product that someone buffed up. If we can't get it to spec, we don't sell it as a remanufactured unit — we part it out. The remanufactured devices that leave our shop have earned the designation.
Device is fully disassembled. Every component is inspected individually. Nothing is assumed to be good because it looks good externally.
The image intensifier tube is tested against current spec. FOM, SNR, resolution, and halo diameter are measured. Tubes that don't pass are replaced with new L3 Harris or Elbit units.
Objective lens, eyepiece, and diopter assembly are cleaned or replaced. Housing is inspected for cracks, seal integrity, and structural integrity. Damaged components are replaced, not repaired.
Device is reassembled to mil-spec torque and alignment specifications. Full bench test performed. Resolution, gain, sensitivity, autogating, and submersion seal tested before final acceptance.
Spec sheet generated with tube test data, serial number, and date of remanufacture. Shipped with the device so you have a complete record of what it is and what it measured.
Remanufactured units carry an Adams Industries warranty. If something fails in normal use, we stand behind the work. That's not a marketing statement — it's the position we've held since 1994.
