The NOPTIC NV3 replaces your patrol vehicle's spotlight head with a thermal imaging camera that you aim from inside the vehicle using the existing spotlight handle. No new mount. No new controls. Officers scan large areas in total darkness, detect heat signatures up to 500 yards out, and locate suspects without activating the spotlight — and without the suspect knowing they've been seen. Output feeds directly to your MDT, laptop, or in-car monitor.

The NV3 outputs digital video via USB directly to Windows-based MDT and laptop systems — no capture dongle required. Video records continuously, date and time stamped. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Android. Evidence captured and ready without additional hardware.

One patrol car with NOPTIC scans a suspect on foot while driving past — no spotlight, no alert, no indication the vehicle is even looking. The NOPTIC car radios coordinates to a second unit, which moves directly to the location and hits the spotlight when right on top of the suspect. This tactic has been proven in the field by departments running NOPTIC systems. It works because the suspect has no idea he's already been located. That's what thermal gives you — the ability to know before they know you know.
