Night Vision Goggles for Hunting — Depth Perception Included

SENTINEL binocular NVG — two tubes mean real depth perception. Navigate terrain, read distance, shoot confidently.

Most night hunters know the monocular problem: Gen 3 image quality, but a flat image that makes terrain judgment and distance estimation harder than it needs to be. A single tube eliminates binocular parallax — the depth cue your brain uses to interpret three-dimensional space. You adapt, but you never fully compensate. The SENTINEL resolves this with two independent MX-10160 Gen 3 tubes delivering genuine stereoscopic vision.

At 40 degrees field of view and 1× magnification, the SENTINEL is configured for navigation and terrain awareness, not for target acquisition at distance. You wear it on a helmet or head mount, move with both hands free, and read the ground in front of you the same way you would in daylight — because your brain is receiving the same binocular depth information it was designed to process.

Why Depth Perception Matters for Night Hunting

Night hunting on uneven terrain is a depth perception challenge. Roots, rocks, elevation changes, fence lines, and water edges are difficult to judge with a monocular image. The brain's depth-perception system depends on the slightly different angle between left and right eye images — a signal that a monocular, by definition, cannot provide. You either slow down to compensate, or you accept elevated trip and fall risk.

Binocular NVGs restore this depth cue. The SENTINEL's two MX-10160 tubes provide independent left-eye and right-eye images at the correct interpupillary spacing, and your brain processes the parallax difference the same way it does in daylight. Movement through terrain is more natural, faster, and lower risk.

True Binocular Depth Perception

Two independent tubes, correct IPD spacing, genuine stereoscopic vision. The brain gets the depth cues it was designed for — no adaptation required.

Gen 3 Image Quality

MX-10160 large-format Gen 3 tubes deliver the photocathode sensitivity needed to see in moonlight or overcast starlight — the conditions most night hunting takes place in.

Fixed Bridge Stability

Rigid fixed bridge maintains factory-set tube alignment permanently. No hinge to drift, no alignment to re-check between uses. Tubes are where they should be every time you flip it down.

Hands-Free Operation

Helmet or head-mount configuration keeps both hands free for movement, calling, or managing gear. Neither hand is occupied holding an optic.

White Phosphor Image

White phosphor output delivers gray-scale imagery that shows contrast more naturally than green phosphor — game, terrain features, and obstacles read more clearly.

CR123A Power

Dual CR123A batteries provide multi-night runtime for extended hunting trips. High energy density keeps the system compact and lightweight on the mount.
